Hitman: Absolution on Xbox 360 is the fifth main entry in the Hitman series, developed by IO Interactive and published by Square Enix. It launched on November 20, 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. You play as Agent 47, a cold-blooded assassin who takes on his most personal and dangerous contract to date after being betrayed by the Agency and hunted by police. The game follows 47 as he pursues redemption in a corrupt and twisted world, protecting a young girl named Victoria while evading those he once trusted. The Xbox 360 version runs natively at 720p with post-process anti-aliasing (FXAA), targets 30 FPS, and manages performance relatively well with only minor dips. The game features a more linear, story-driven approach compared to previous entries, with 20 missions overall, a new interface and control scheme, and a scoring system that allows you to compare your performance with friends and global averages. Graphics were praised as excellent for the platform, with sharp textures and crisp details.
