Witch on the Holy Night on PS4 is a visual novel developed by TYPE-MOON and published by Aniplex. It was originally released for Windows in Japan on April 12, 2012, and received a fully voiced HD remaster for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on December 8, 2022 worldwide. The game serves as the first installment of the Tsukihime Remake timeline and features Aoko Aozaki as the main character. Set in 1980s Japan, the story follows Aoko, a young witch who has been training in magic for three years, as she deals with the arrival of Alice Kuonji, a transfer student and fellow mage. The remaster includes full voice acting from a Japanese cast, visuals remastered in full HD (1920x1080), new visual elements for battle scenes and everyday activities, and two side stories in addition to the main 13-chapter story. The PS4 version supports DUALSHOCK 4 controller and mouse input, with vibration not supported. The Digital Deluxe Edition (PS4 exclusive) includes the digital version of reference material 'Magician's Basic Tune'.
