Assassin's Creed Odyssey on PS4 is an open-world action RPG developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. Set in Ancient Greece during the Peloponnesian War, the game lets you play as either Alexios or Kassandra, a Spartan mercenary who becomes involved in a personal family conflict, political struggles, and the wider battle between Athens and Sparta. Odyssey expands the series with dialogue choices, branching quests, multiple endings, naval exploration, large-scale battles, gear customization, ability trees, and a broader RPG progression system. Players can explore islands, cities, ruins, caves, and coastlines across a huge recreation of Ancient Greece while uncovering the secrets of the First Civilization. The base game includes the full single-player campaign and online features such as community challenges, while the story expansions are separate DLC.
